What is "Managed IT Services" plan?
|

Managed IT Services plan, also known as Annual Maintenance Contract, is an IT Service Agreement between Zaphyr Technologies and your department, whereby our Team
of trained IT Engineers and Technicians will help your department build, manage and support your network infrastructure and perform periodical health-checks on your network and computers
and ensure that your network is secure and Virus-Free and that your mission-critical servers and computers are always backed-up and fully operational.

Is Zaphyr's services available outside the State of NJ?

Currently, we are offering the "Managed IT Services" plans to Law Enforcement & Public Safety organizations in the State of New Jersey ONLY.

Can I buy partial Blocks of Hours?

Currently, Zaphyr Technologies offers Four Plans at varying price ranges. Each plan has a Primary Block of Hours with a Minimum number of Hours in them.
If your department does not wish to sign up for any of these plans and would prefer a different number of hours, the Price (per hour) will vary.

Can I pay for my plan on a monthly or quarterly basis?

Regretfully No. We appreciate your understanding that all fees are paid "In Full" at the time of signing the contract. This ensures our Commitment to continuously serving your department in a Timely & Professional manner
and also saves you the headache of having to get bills approved every month or quarterly.

How do I switch between plans before the end of the year?

Once you signup for a plan, the term of the contract is ONE YEAR from the time of signing. Any additional hours purchased will be at the rate that was agreed upon.
However, in certain cases we have allowed "Upgrading" of plans and it varies from case to case. Please contact your Virtual IT Director to find out if your department can switch its plans.

Will the balance of the Hours be carried forward to next year?

It depends on the BLOCK. At the time of signing or renewing a Service Agreement, your department will purchase a PRIMARY BLOCK of hours. If this Block
is not consumed within a year, the remaining hours will not be carried forward. But rest assure that it is very rare that THAT happens. With quarterly network audits
and periodical computer health-check examinations, your department WILL consume the primary block.
However, any ADDITIONAL BLOCK of hours purchased WILL be carried forward but only on the condition that your department renews its Primary contract.
For example, if "X" Police Department, who had signed up for Gold Plan, purchased additional block of 20 hours in July but only consumed 5 hours. The remaining 15 hours will be carried forward to next year ONLY if they sign up for the Gold Plan next year as well.

Can both our Boro/Town Hall and Police Department sign up under ONE plan?

Yes, you can. In fact, your department can PARTNER with other departments (with Zaphyr's consent, of course) and can purchase ONE Plan.
However, the Plan will be signed by ONE Primary Department, who will be responsible for payments and will be sent the Block Usage report.

Do I have to sign up for a plan or can I engage Zaphyr even without a plan?

You can engage Zaphyr Technologies to assist you with your IT needs even if you DO NOT have a signed contract. But please understand that since there is no binding agreement between Zaphyr and your department,
your department might have to pay premium rates for our service. Secondly, if Zaphyr has other commitments, you might be refused immediate service, regretfully though.

Does my department get "After-Hour" service in case of an Emergency?

Yes. Zaphyr Technologies regular hours of operations are from 8AM to 6PM (0800-1800 hrs). However,
departments can call the "After-Hour" phone support number from 6PM to 10PM (1800-2200 hrs).

Will I be charged for Phone Support?
|

Phone support is charged in the increments of 15 minutes.
|
Will my department be assigned a dedicated Account Rep.?
|

Yes. Every department is assigned a Virtual IT Director who is responsible for department's IT well being and ensuring that all issues are addressed in a timely manner.

How will Zaphyr's Virtual IT Director assigned to my department benefit us?
|
| |
The IT Director is responsible for your department's Network well being. He/she will ensure that all your
IT issues are addressed in a timely manner. The IT Director will also arrange for periodic network audits and will
keep your department informed of any new Virus/Trojan threats, thus reducing the possible downtime and ensuring uninterrupted
continuity of your operations.

Can I cancel my plan if I am not satisfied?

Within the first THREE (3) months of signing a contract, your department can request for the cancellation of the plan
"No Questions Asked" and a full refund will be issued. If our services had been rendered during the first three months,
your department will be charged the "Per-Hour" rate (which is $150).
For example, if your department signed up for Gold Plan and paid $5,000 and within the first 3 months requested to cancel the plan but
had already used 4 hours of the plan, it will be charged at $150 and therefore the department will owe $600. So the department will be refunded
$4,400 ($5,000 - $600).
If the department wished to cancel the plan AFTER the first 3 months, please contact your Virtual IT Director or our Customer Services Department at
973.560.9050 and they can help you with your request.

How do I request for a Refund if I am not satisfied with service on a visit?

If your department is not satisfied with Zaphyr's service or response on a particular incident, please contact your Virtual IT Director
and inform him why you were not satisfied (this is for Quality Assurance purpose only) and he will arrange for the refund of the number of hours
used on that incident.

Is Zaphyr an Authorized Reseller of HP and IBM computers?

Yes, we are proud partners with HP, IBM, Microsoft, SonicWall, Symantec and many other major corporations.

Does Zaphyr have a State Contract to sell Computers to Govt. organizations?

No, we do not have a State Contract. However, that should not stop us from getting you a GREAT DEAL on most of HP and IBM Servers, Computers, Laptops and Printers etc.
